December 26, 2022The TLV74318PDBVR and TLV743P are low-dropout linear regulators (LDOs) designed for use on PCB boards. They have a quiescent current of 34 uA and 300 mA output, respectively, and offer excellent line and load transient performance. Both devices feature foldback current limit, shutdown, and thermal protection, and are stable with user input or output capacitors. The TLV743P has a typical accuracy of 1% and is designed to be stable with a 1 uF output capacitor. It also has an active pulldown circuit to quickly discharge output loads when disabled. Both devices are packaged in an SOT-23-5 enclosure and are installed using SMD/SMT technology. They have a fixed output type and a positive polarity. The TLV74318PDBVR has an output voltage of 1.8 V and the TLV743P has a minimum input voltage of 1.4 V and a maximum input voltage of 5.5 V. They have a PSRR/Pulse Rejection value of 50 dB and a dropout voltage of 122 mV (TLV74318PDBVR) and 270 mV (TLV743P). The TLV743P has a line regulation of 1 mV and a load regulation of 16 mV, and both devices have a temperature range of -40 C to +125 C. They are classified as LDO voltage regulators and fall under the PMIC – Power Management ICs subcategory.
