L6599D Pic Chip

The L6599D is a Pic chip suitable for use on PSUs, both the APW 9 or APW 12.

The L6599 works as a power management IC, functioning as a dual-terminal controller tailor-made for resonant half-bridge topology. It uses a balanced 50% complementary duty cycle, orchestrating the activation and deactivation of the high-side and low-side switches in perfect 180° opposition. This synchronized operation is pivotal for achieving soft switching and enabling high-frequency performance.
