High Frequency Transformer – APW12

High frequency transformer to supply Antminer APW12 PSU CPU 12V chip, input DC 380-420v, and output DC circuit 12v-15v. This units input winding and output winding are electrically connected to each other. It is generally used to avoid the danger of accidentally touching the live body and the ground at the same time, and it is a safe power supply. It is used for machine repair and maintenance and plays the role of protection, lightning protection, and filtering. High-frequency transformers operate using the same principles as standard transformers; the only major difference is that they operate at higher frequencies. Normal transformers work at 50-60 Hz, and high-frequency transformers work between 20 kHz and 1 MHz. A major benefit of using high-frequency transformers is their smaller size. The higher the frequency, the smaller the transformer size. Also, due to the smaller size, less copper wire is used, which reduces losses and helps the transformer become more efficient.
